"The Well Balanced Teacher"

The above quote was taken from, "The Well-Balanced Teacher" book. I personally really like this quote because I find myself a little rebellious. I remember a teacher being upset because she was denied permission to show a movie to her class. My response was, "You asked for permission?" I remember her laughing at my comment, but I seriously meant it. Teachers know the needs of their students best so asking for permission to do certain lessons or activities never even comes to my mind. I am fully confident in my ability to explain why I do the things I do and I feel as though I do not need "permission" for certain things.
